Following the momentum of our intense annual strategic planning, the leadership core of our organization gathered once again at the serene One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites on the morning of February 7. This specialized leadership skills training, titled “Decide with Impact: Strengthening Decision-Making and Accountability for Technology Leaders,” was specifically curated for our Department Managers, Supervisors, and Team Leaders. To guide us through this critical development, we invited Myron Sta. Ana, a highly sought-after speaker and master of “EnterTRAINment.” His unique approach ensured that while the topics were serious and high-stakes, the energy remained infectious, keeping our leaders engaged and inspired throughout the session.
The training served as the vital bridge between the “what” of our 2026 roadmap and the “how” of our daily execution. In the fast-paced world of technology and infrastructure, leadership is not merely about oversight; it is about the courage to make definitive choices and the integrity to own the results. Mr. Sta. Ana began by addressing the unique challenges faced by leaders in the digital age, where information overload often leads to analysis paralysis. Our managers delved into frameworks designed to sharpen their cognitive agility, learning to distinguish between high-velocity decisions that require speed and high-stakes decisions that require deep deliberation. By practicing these mental models, our team leaders are now better equipped to navigate the complexities of project management and technical deployments with a focus on precision and confidence.
Central to the morning’s curriculum was the concept of the Accountability Loop. In an organization that strives to “Act as One,” accountability is the invisible thread that connects individual performance to collective success. The session challenged our supervisors and managers to move beyond the traditional view of responsibility and toward a culture of extreme ownership. This segment emphasized that accountability is a proactive commitment rather than a reactive explanation. By fostering an environment where every leader takes full ownership of their department’s wins and losses, we create a transparent, high-trust culture that minimizes friction and maximizes our operational output across all regions.
As the session concluded, there was a palpable sense of empowerment among the attendees. Our Department Managers, Supervisors, and Team Leaders left Tagaytay not just with new strategies, but with a strengthened mindset. They are now prepared to return to their respective teams—from the “Ground Force” in the field to the “Fiscal Fortitude” in the finance office—with a unified, decisive approach to leadership. By deciding with impact and leading with accountability, this group ensures that our organization remains a standard of excellence in the industry, proving once again that our people truly are our greatest power.
