Despite the industry general recession due to coronavirus outbreak, Macrologic cloud services MIaaS was able to help clients from various business sectors continue their operation, secure data and roll out business critical application amidst of the Enhanced Community Quarantine mandate by the government.

When ECQ was implemented last March 18, 2020 throughout the country, only those businesses dealing with basic needs and with exemption of BPO’s were allowed to operate. Deliveries of goods and services related to Information Technology became the major challenge with the sprouting military manned checkpoints and varied pandemic policies released by the local government units.

Macrologic Infrastructure as a Service strategy for cloud provides unmatched value to clients during these trying times helping a manpower and professional services company continue its business operation with its application workload for human resource provisioned in MIaaS. The quick and flexible cloud services allowed the customer’s software application to be fully operational in less than a week including web and VPN client access and deployment of dedicated gateway firewall on cloud. Another client from manufacturing, tapped MIaaS for it critical data that needs to be stored and accessed remotely by its users. The simple file server architecture was up and running in an hour instance, making possible for users to access data securely whenever they needed to specially during the ECQ wherein work from home became the workforce model.

Furthermore, a leading retail and distribution company locally has plan to roll-out S4 HANA enterprise resource planning software as early as Q1, 2020. The internal process caused delays in the decision for the hardware infrastructure thus moved to Q2, 2020. With the immediate requirement to deploy sandbox to use by the SAP provider, Macrologic was able to provision the S4 HANA cloud infrastructure in MIaaS ahead of the given timeline, allowing users to start working immediately on file transfer and application configuration in the middle of the ongoing pandemic and public mobility restrictions.
